1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ScamAlert.pk, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.
2. Purpose of ScamAlert.pk
ScamAlert.pk provides a platform where consumers can document experiences with businesses, submit supporting information and give businesses an opportunity to respond. ScamAlert.pk does not determine criminal guilt, make judicial findings or guarantee the accuracy of every statement submitted by users.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the security of your account. You must not use another person's account without permission or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or another user's account.
4. Submitting Reports
Reports must be submitted honestly and in good faith. You should provide information that you reasonably believe to be accurate and relevant to your experience. You must not knowingly submit false, fabricated, misleading or malicious reports.
5. Supporting Evidence
You may be permitted to upload documents, images or other supporting material. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit such material and that it does not unlawfully disclose another person's private information, infringe intellectual property rights or violate applicable law.
6. Business Right of Response
ScamAlert.pk may notify a business when a report concerns that business and may provide a limited opportunity for the business to respond. A business response may include an explanation, refund information, tracking information or supporting evidence.
7. Review Window and Customer Verdict
Reports may be subject to a defined review period, including the platform's 72-hour response window. Where applicable, the reporting customer may be given an opportunity to indicate whether the business response resolved the issue. A customer's verdict represents that user's assessment and is not a legal determination by ScamAlert.pk.
8. Public Information
Reports, business responses, resolution status and other information may become publicly visible as part of the ScamAlert.pk reporting system. Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in content intended for public display.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use ScamAlert.pk to harass, threaten, impersonate or defame others; submit knowingly false information; publish unlawful content; manipulate the reporting process; interfere with platform security; distribute malicious software; or use automated systems to abuse the service.
10. Moderation and Platform Integrity
ScamAlert.pk may review, restrict, remove or preserve content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, respond to abuse, maintain platform integrity or comply with legal obligations. We may also restrict or suspend accounts involved in misuse of the service.
11. No Endorsement or Guarantee
User reports and business responses represent information provided by their respective submitters. Their appearance on ScamAlert.pk does not mean that ScamAlert.pk endorses, independently verifies or guarantees every statement, allegation, response or resolution.
12. No Legal or Financial Advice
Information available through ScamAlert.pk is provided for informational purposes and should not be treated as legal, financial or professional advice.
13. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep ScamAlert.pk available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, maintain, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ScamAlert.pk and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from user-submitted content, business responses, reliance on information published through the platform or interruptions to the service.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as ScamAlert.pk develops. The current version will be published on this page together with its updated effective date.
